Neurodiversity Advocate & Inclusion Leader

Inspired by her personal journey as a mother to a neurodivergent child, Mugdha became a prominent voice in India’s neurodiversity and caregiver inclusion movement. She co-founded Not That Different, a platform that builds awareness, fosters empathy, and pushes for systemic change around autism, invisible disabilities, and support systems for families. In recognition of her work, she was named to the BBC 100 Women list in 2021. Mugdha is currently pursuing a PhD focused on assisted living models for neurodivergent adults in India, working to shape affordable, sustainable futures for families like hers.

Author of I See You, I Get You

Mugdha is the author of the Amazon bestseller I See You, I Get You: The Self-Care Guide for Special Needs Parents. Part memoir, part manifesto, the book urges caregivers—especially parents of neurodivergent children—to put their mental and emotional well-being first. Launched at the India Inclusion Summit and Indian Neurodiversity Summit, the book has sparked a larger movement advocating for caregiver mental health, community support, and family-centered inclusion.
